In cooperation with Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry – Khorfakkan, AlSharq Hospital organized a medical campaign about “Obesity and Healthy Diet” for the Chamber employees. Dr. Mohammad Al Meri, Specialist – Internal Medicine at AlSharq Hospital, presented an awareness lecture where he spoke about the health risks of being overweight, and highlighted the importance of following a healthy diet. The medical team conducted medical checkups for the employees to measure blood pressure, blood sugar level, and BMI. This cooperation comes within the social responsibility initiatives of AlSharq Hospital to promote health awareness in the community.
